Surprise visitor

I slept surprisingly well last night. I blame him.

I didn't get woken up by the birdie this morning, but when I did look out at the reasonable time of 7.30, I saw next door's cat looking particularly smug and licking his lips.

I'm very suspicious. Is the birdie still out there?
